How can I request for an apartment?

You can make a request via our website, via email, or by phoning us directly. We provide personalised advice for your inquiry and send your apartment user agreement for your chosen apartment via email. Upon payment of the deposit, the apartment user agreement is confirmed and the contract agreement comes into effect.

How is the rent arranged and paid?

The monthly rent is payable no later than the first of each month by bank transfer. The first month’s payment must be paid no later than the first day of the apartment user agreement. Credit cards are accepted.

Is there a commission to pay?

The apartments are let without a commission.

Is there a premium to pay?

There are no premiums to pay.

What is included in the monthly rent price?

Prices include service charge, broadcast licence fee and WLAN internet connection fee. Energy bills (gas and electricity) will be charged separately and are subject to meter readings in each apartment.

For stays of up to three months, a 3.2% accommodation tax will be charged retroactively against the net monthly rent. This tax will be deducted from the security deposit when moving out. For stays of longer than three months, no accommodation tax is due or applicable (according to current legislation).

How are energy bills calculated?

Each apartment has its own meter for measuring gas and electricity usage.

Is there a security deposit to pay?

A security deposit is required to cover additional costs in case of any damages or lost items from the apartment. The deposit total depends on the property size and the facilities included. The deposit will be refunded to the apartment user after moving out, minus any claims for damages or missing items. The deposit is not used to pay for ongoing monthly costs. If this deposit is not paid on time, it will not be possible to move into the apartment.

Is the monthly rent reduced if you stay for longer or if you need more apartments?

The monthly rent is always the same rate, even if you stay for longer or if you need more apartments. 

What are the terms of payment?

  • The security deposit is payable within three working days of confirmation of your apartment user agreement.
  • The first month’s fee is due for payment on the first day of the agreed period of usage.
  • The flat fee for all subsequent months is due for payment by the 1st day of every month during your period of the apartment usage.
  • Energy bills are due for payment immediately upon receipt of the bill.

Contract Extension, Termination and Cancellation

What are the standard notice periods?

At the time of taking over the apartment, the period of usage is agreed. The contract is terminated at the end of the agreed contract duration. Any implicit renewal of the contract is explicitly excluded from the agreement. For renewal, a new agreement must be agreed and signed. For a one-month contract, any extension of the apartment user agreement must be requested in advance at least 14 days before the last day of the contract. For longer-term apartment usage authorisations, any extension of the contract must be requested at least 4 weeks before the last day of the apartment user agreement.

Early termination of a longer-term apartment user agreement is possible with a notice period of one month at the end of each month. For apartemnt user agreements on a monthly basis, there is no early termination option.

What is the cancellation policy?

  • Cancellation more than 1 month before the first day of the apartment user agreement – 0% of the deposit deducted
  • Cancellation between 7 days to 1 month before the first day of the apartment user agreement – 25% of the deposit deducted
  • Cancellation between 1 to 7 days before the first day of the apartment user agreement – 50% of the deposit deducted
  • Cancellation on the first day of apartment user agreement or in the event of a no-show – 100% of the deposit deducted

Features / WLAN & TV

Is the kitchen fully equipped?

Kitchens in the apartments are equipped with a stove, extractor fan connected to outside, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, cutlery and crockery – and most have a dishwasher as well.

Is there are TV?

Each apartment has a TV with satellite/cable connection.

What is included in the apartment?

Most of the apartments have been newly refurbished, are fully furnished with modern fittings, and also have a fully equipped kitchen. The bathrooms are tiled and include a washing machine. Living areas feature parquet flooring. Each apartment has wireless internet connection and satellite/cable TV.

Does the apartment have an internet connection?

All apartments have wireless internet connection. The fee for the internet connection is included in the monthly rent.


Are guests allowed to stay?

Yes, guests are allowed, but the apartment (or rooms within the apartment) must not be sublet to any other person. Any use of the apartment other than for residential purposes is not permitted.

Is the heating in the apartment adjustable?

The apartments have gas heating, which is adjustable in the apartment.

Is smoking allowed?

Smoking is not allowed in any of the apartments! Any instances of smoking in the apartments will lead to a fine of €500.00 for non-compliance with the smoking ban.

Are pets allowed?

Pets may only be brought to the apartments with explicit written consent.

Is it possible to arrange for the apartment to be cleaned regularly?

Apartment cleaning is not provided as a service.

When are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is only possible on workdays from 8.30am to 6pm
Check-out is at 10am at the latest. Should the apartment be needed for longer on this day, we ask for you to inform us with plenty of notice.
